This artefact is a lesson plan (Year 9 Period 4 Thursday 27th May 35 mins). This lesson i needed to teach the year 9 students the idea of a "One Drop" which means, in a bar of 4 beats, the first beat is not played or is dropped, hence "One Drop"

This is implementing numeracy by using the mathematics of music and explaining rhythms with numbers, the lesson also incorporates literacy and numeracy as the students are learning terms and words that they would have never heard and expanding their knowledge and vocabulary.
